Major enzymes activity is provided by Xylanase that catalyzes the hydrolysis of beta-1,4-xylan polysaccharides into smaller poly-saccharides and xylose.
Activity Definition of 1μ/g activity:
1 gram enzyme liberates 5 mg/ml xylan to release 1μmol reducing sugar (measured as xylose) in 1 min, at 37℃ and pH5.5.
